How to be sure you avoid falling into a credit card scam
Credit card fraudsters are forced to their game and are becoming ever more ingenious with the scams that try to pull off. As the holder of the credit card in the UK you need to stay on their toes ahead of the game. You need to make sure to keep up with all the different types of credit card scams that fraudsters might try on you. In this sense, they are pretty lucky in the United Kingdom that the majority of card fraud have been tried previously elsewhere, notably States United States States.
The following are some general tips to ensure you do not give any con:
Call Phishing
Never give your card number credit to anyone who phones asking these details unless you are sure the call is a genuine call. Currently, a number of fraudsters are trying obtain cardholders in the UK to give them vital information about your credit cards 'cold' call and ask about these details the pre-fix that fraud has taken place on the card.
