Earning money through credit cards
Many people treat credit card as one of their expenses, something that cost them money. Many people refuse to have a credit card even for educated guy. They think that once they have credit card, they will pay more. This is totally wrong. They do not understand what the credit card, credit cards can do for them. Some pay more just for their own bad habits of using credit card.
credit card can earn more for us if we use it wisely and chose a correct credit card for us. The two most important factors to make credit card earn more for us are, annual fee, and without giving up the card interest charged on the card.
Before we apply for a credit card, make sure that no annual fee will be charged. There are some credit cards are completely free for a lifetime without any conditions. Some are free, with conditions. A normal condition, as at least 12 purchases made over a year. Another condition is normal, at least certain purchase amount made for one year. Please make sure you can meet the condition before applying for it. In addition, I also to consider the resignation method used. Some credit card issuers just need a call to waive the annual fee. And some need to see your signature in black and white. You must be very clear about this before the credit card application. For me, I'll just ask for a credit card that only needs a call because I'm not willing to send an application form to apply for annual fee waiver. This is just because I have to pay more if I have to submit an application compared to a phone call.
Second factor is an interest-free. We must ensure we are able to pay everything before purchasing any thing by using credit card, so that no interest will be charged. The interest charged by credit card is the highest rate among all banking services. If you are using the credit card itself to something that actually is not affordable, then you're paying more to the credit card, no can earn through credit card. If you are this type of person, then you can stop reading this article. We can make a credit card to earn more us only when we are able to pay the full statement balance.
We are not supposed to spend more money on the card payment credit. For me, I prefer to make payment through internet banking which is the most convenient and cheapest method of payment. If I need to go to yard operations make payment, then I have to pay for petrol, parking and am losing more time to do it.
With three factors above, we paying the minimum amount, which is perhaps a phone call to get the annual fee waiver and the share of Internet banking. If the credit card is a card free for life, even to save the phone call. Here are five factors that we can win some money.
First, every month we must make full payment before the due date. If you pay cash for our purchase, the money will come out of pocket or purse before have the goods. But if you are using credit card, the money is still in our bank account earning interest. If we are able to pay the payment Credit card after a longer period, then earn more. For example, if I made a purchase in one day and I have to make payment by credit card after 10 days and then I can earn 10 days interest for the money still in my bank account for 10 days. If I pay by credit card after 20 days, then surely win more compared to 10 days. So now, how to have a longer repayment period, including over a month?
You must have at least two credit cards with their statement date almost half month apart. Before using your card credit, just choose the credit card right after the declaration date. For example, a credit card statement dated 5 all months and another 20 of each month. If today is August 7, then you should use your credit card statement dated the fifth. If the deadline is 20 days after the date of the state, then the due date for payment by credit card will be on 25 September. This is because the date declaration for the purchase in August 7th falls on 05 September. How much interest will be earning because of paying late? The interest earned will be August 7 September 25th, which is total of 50 days (one month). If you pay your property into cash, you lose the opportunity to earn 50 days interest because their money out of your portfolio on 07 August. By having two credit cards with statement date half months apart, we will have a higher average repayment period. Let's say we only have one credit card with statement date 5th of every month and today is 04 August. We have no choice and have to use this credit card even though you know tomorrow will be the date of declaration. The deadline for this purchase is falls on 25 August. It means we earn 22 days of interest. If you have another credit card statement dated 25th of each month, then we can use this card for the purchase and we can earn interest 42 days after this purchase (assume expiration date of September 14).
Most credit cards provide redemption point. We can achieve something want by using redemption points we have, without paying a single cent for the goods. When I need some electrical items for my house, always I seek redemption in the list. But if you refuse to use credit card, you have to pay for everything you need.
Many card issuers offers 0% interest on credit card holders to buy expensive items like furniture. This makes it easier for cardholders own something expensive (for Of course you have to make sure they are able to pay in full each month). The plan helps you earn more interest, even (using the same concept mentioned above) long as the installment payment period (from 6 months to 2 years). The most important question here is, the plan must be free of interest. The plan longer, win.
One last chance to earn more is the cash refund or a refund. Some credit cards offer cash repayment plan. The cash back rate is about 0.4% to 1% of the balance statement. The tax rebate is to reduce the balance on the card credit. Some cards are giving a flat discount rate are some depends on your Statement.
All the above items is true in Malaysia. Some of them can not be true for your country. Please make your check before any credit card application. Please use your card credit wisely to be making money for us.
