Learn to be a winner with credit cards!
In this article I will show how you can get the most out of pesky credit cards offers you receive. Even if you're not trying to change the cards that could tip a thing or they feel so tight, but first, let me set the scene: You is the proud owner of a credit card or two, never really use them, but they are paid in full each month. Then comes a few must have purchases and perhaps your downsized employer and is sent him packing. Before you're in the hole for $ 5000. Does the above sound too familiar? The credit card companies you do not hear the fine print at all, and has a microfiche reader anyway – I swear it's a source of two points using! You will end for any further credit card without really knowing what you're getting or have to do anything at all. Now I do not get carried away with this silly little story, but I would like to add some more coal on the fire by quoting some alarming facts credit card:
Fact number one: Pay the minimum payment in a balance of $ 2,000 with an interest rate of 15.04% will take 169 months (yes that is 14 years) to pay in full! And you can, for a total payment of $ 2205.63 in interest
charges (not inlclude the $ 2,000 of debt)!
Fact number two: The change to 8% in April card from a card April 16 will save% approx. $ 500 per year in interest payments on a balance of $ 5,000.
Ok, ok, I hear you mourn register. As expected Tigger, a moment before jumping into the maze of credit card and promise to her first child. Using a small amount of gray matter (AKA your noggin / brain), can prevent most of the pitfalls of the credit card game. Yikes! This Discover is the line of the website. They usually have to give 5-10 business days for credit card company to get paid so I suggest you sign up with your bank to pay the bill online or obtain an electronic debit order so that they can automatically take a certain amount each month. If they do hit with a late fee and has a good payment history with them you can try calling them and asking them to waive the fee with the threat that you cancel your account if they do not. I use this once and it worked so it never hurts to ask right.
Step 3: Keep an eye on the balance of your
So your limit is $ 2000, but credit card companies tasteful let you go on it and slap you with a fee of $ 25 for the pleasure (in some cases even if you spend a dollar) If you're shopping with your new check card account online weekly.
