Last summer, in 2007, announced during a dinner conversation "that the 150 executions per day in Los Angeles were to get up to four times that level. "I also predicted that property values would be reduced at least 40%. At this point in the conversation several of the guests thought I should be committed and some accused me of having "one-too-many" during a cocktail hour but I was sober and most other successful business doom and gloom that my comments were intended to achieve that the list of their property with me as a real estate agent. They were too cocky with their success to the fact that sound was giving warning of things to come.
I live in one of the most affluent zip codes in Los Angeles and when I look over my foreclosure list up to date it is shocking that I'm surrounded by dozens foreclosures and tax liens properties important in some of the goods most luxurious high-rise in Southern California. The mortgage collapse is believed only affect the financial ignorant and irresponsible owners. But this crisis is proving to be an opportunity for "equal" destroyer of lives and families. Nobody is immune to bad business investments and lack of trial or, worse, the plans of the mortgage.
If you believe that we have an oil shortage, then you have to succumb to the dumbing down in America. There is enough oil in Alaska and the coast in the U.S. to last 300 years. Equally absurd is how fast that our government came up with $ 30 billion to rescue Bear Stearns, but not $ 30 million dollars to save strapped homeowners. This betrayal U.S. taxpayers' revealed that our political leaders were more interested in saving Wall Street than Main Street.
The new law President Bush signed in late July to rescue homeowners alleged is a joke. My guess is that less than 350,000 homeowners actually benefit from this piece of legislative garbage. As for the remaining 5 million homeowners in trouble the House and Senate passed this bill, for obvious reasons year's elections. Senators Dodd and Obama is so fond of home loans that none of us are able to obtain. If you feel you have been screwed by their mortgage lender, then hold your nose as the American taxpayers who are not in mortgage trouble and who pay their bills now will be bound with paying bills that should never have received these loans in the first place. This is nothing but smoke and mirrors policy in this presidential election the year.
If you are upside down on a mortgage which now owe far more than the property is worth then walk! Yes, you read me right. If your lender or Loss Mitigation department honestly not going to negotiate a solution to your problem mortgage, retire! And tell them you're walking. We read in the newspapers that "banks do not want your property," it costs them an average of $ 60,000 to dispose of an empty house. They do not tell is that most of these houses have been stripped of their toilets, bathtubs, toilets and all that can be extracted and marketed from the structure. The really ugly aspect of any transaction exclusion is that the unsuspecting buyer at a foreclosure sale are left to the reconstruction of the property at their expense. The agreement excluded turns out to be a financial albatross for the new owner may be pushed financially yet another foreclosure in the near future.
Many lenders shortsighted owners threaten Housing and expect to gain from a foreclosure, but usually cost more than to exclude and then to negotiate a reduction in the balance of your mortgage. Therefore, instead of begging and pleading for consideration by the threat of foot … might bring honest negotiation.
If your interest rate will continue rising through the roof … walk! If your financial circumstances will be more complicated with late fees, and various penalties, then walk. irresponsible advice, perhaps, but if I were in this position I would not walk to my local courthouse and file a "Quit-claim" deed giving title the lender. We will then send the lender the keys. It might take weeks or months to evict lender, but at least you can spend the little money you have left to get your life in order and stop playing the victim role. Lenders can not foreclose on something they now have.
If tens of thousands of homeowners begin to walk, the issue will be resolved before Wall Street and corporate criminals can not survive if you start leaving them outside the itching and mortgage schemes is used to discriminate and his family first, especially when these mortgage brokers knew very well that you do not qualify for the loan in default eventually. Only note that the CEO of Countrywide billion and made off with tens of millions in profits of an enterprise was nearly destroyed. Should be in jail not flying in the Countrywide corporate jet with all expenses paid as it strives to make your next payment. It's time to prosecute all criminal enterprise that we are stealing and destroying the capitalist system.
