Credit Card Services resonate with consumers
I have a great piece of advice from a retired businessman who has become my mentor and I'm helping to get my online business going.
He told me that many businesses fail because while the impetus may be the passion of the owners, that have yet to make their customers happy. He spent some time living in Canada and he became a big fan of Canadian football. But he left the point that if we started a business of football paraphernalia and all I had was CFL things you probably up belly.
But if he NFL stock and American arts college football could also fill your CFL material because it would have a wider selection and a better chance of your site intersects with the kind of thing football fans looking for. It is this intersection between the vision of the owner and customers want the money was made.
Then suddenly asked me if I had the intention to accept credit cards. I said I wanted to get a basic business before I did and that I plan current business was to install the merchant services around nine months in.
He smiled in a very sympathetic and asked if I knew what were the stats on the online credit card use and saw the figure I said – 80 percent of everything bought online is paid by credit card.
He then asked me how Internet shoppers are supposed to know the difference between my new business and competition. I had no answer for one, which led to his next point. While there might be some sound thinking in delaying the disbursement of funds for credit services merchant card from a business standpoint, not a place I purchase my mind.
They only see that shpped on a site that somehow has an interest, but did not have credit card processing. And probably not ask when to come back – you would click away and never return.
This is the intersection point of making a difference – are willing to pay for credit card and I have the ability of an e-commerce merchant account. And then itself that led to its point of origin.
While my business was my passion, I wanted to make money? I knew the answer, but the question raised was that the online processing of credit cards is a proven way to conduct business, sales and profits. And since a vast majority of online purchases are made with a credit card would not make sense to take a leap of faith and are to credit card processing from the first day?
The more he talked, the more I was beginning to look at my business as a "net buyer and not a" net store owner. When shopping online almost always be I'll pay by credit card. In fact, I can not remember the last time I used nothing more than a credit card. Why would not offer the same services I'm looking for?
